Submit a guided activity
We're glad you want to share your work. To keep this a trustworthy resource, submissions are lightly reviewed and must clear two simple bars first.
The two requirements
Who and what we accept
- You are an educational practitioner. A teacher, librarian, museum educator, homeschool educator, tutor, or similar — someone who works with learners.
- You have run the activity with a real class or group. Not just an idea: something you've actually tried with learners (even once), so you can tell us how it went and what you'd change.
Why the bars? An open activity library is only useful if it isn't flooded with untested ideas. Requiring real classroom experience keeps the collection honest and genuinely useful — the same "tested before we trust it" discipline the whole project runs on.
The process
How it works
- Open the submission form (a guided GitHub form — no coding needed; you just answer questions). It asks the qualifying questions, then your activity's details.
- We review for the two requirements, clarity, and safety/age-appropriateness.
- We publish it here with your credit, marked classroom-tested. Prefer to draft the file yourself? You can open a pull request instead (see CONTRIBUTING).
The form opens a GitHub issue. A free GitHub account is required (it's how we track and discuss submissions). No account? Email us instead — see the repository README.
